Lenzie Academy PTA are a small and friendly group of parents and teachers who work hard organising fundraising events to raise much needed funds for all our children at Lenzie Academy. All the money raised from these events goes directly to the school.

We need you to help us. You can do this in many different ways; come along to a meeting, send in ideas, be an event helper, make a donation, and come to as many of our events as possible. We will send out requests for help, events and meeting notices throughout the year. We know that you can’t help every time, but if everyone helps a little bit we can make such a difference to all our children. Please just do what you can.

You can find out how the money we’ve raised has been spent on our “How we spend” page.

Hopefully, with your help, we will be able to buy even more great resources next year. We will keep you posted…

How can you help?

WE NEED YOU TO HELP US. You can do this in many different ways; come along to a meeting, send in ideas, be an event helper, make a donation and come to as many of our events as possible. • When you shop online use Easy Fundraising to help us earn cash (at no cost to you) when you buy from a large number of retailers. It’s a really simple process!

During the 2024/25 school year you can support us in the following ways :

  • Buy Tickets to our Fundraisers – Please come along to as many of our events as possible. We recently held a MasterChef Demo with 98 parents coming along on the night. Although this is the most people to attend a PTA event, we really need more parents to support our events to all our kids & raise much needed money for Lenzie Academy.
  • Raffle & Tombola Donations – Every so often we request raffle prizes to be donated to help raise funds. The kids can either drop them in to the PI room or adults can drop them in to the school office. Outside of school terms please contact us if you have anything you’d like to donate.
  • Buy Raffle Tickets – We organize online raffles making it is even easier for you to win some fantastic prizes as well as help raise money for our school.
  • Buy Doughnuts – Doughnut Day is organized at the end of the school year. We sell Krispy Kreme Doughnuts as a wee treat for everyone but also as a final fundraiser. Boxes of Doughnuts can be pre ordered online but we also sell individual doughnuts to the pupils in school. They are delicious!
  • Join the PTA – We really do need your help. We only have 12 parents who regularly attend meetings and help at events. All help no matter how big or small, and whether it’s for one event or all of them, is always appreciated. We cannot raise much needed money for all our children at Lenzie Academy without more people. We’re also looking for a new Vice Treasurer and general PTA members. So why not do something great and join us. We are a small, friendly & supportive group, it is good fun & everyone is welcome. We meet monthly to discuss how to raise money and how to spend funds. We know that you can’t attend every meeting or help every time but if you can spare some time, it can make such a difference to all our children. Just come along when you can. So please join us & come along to our AGM & First Meeting of the school year on Thursday 11th September 2025, 6.30-8pm in the Library at Lenzie Academy. Really looking forward to seeing you all then.

Minibus – Sponsor Appeal

We are writing on behalf of the children and staff at Lenzie Academy with an exciting announcement and a special appeal.

Lenzie Academy and the Lenzie Academy PTA are working together to raise funds for a new LEZ-Compliant 17-Seater School Minibus for the pupils at Lenzie Academy.

As a school, we offer our young people a wide variety of learning & sporting experiences both within and out with the school. Experiences away from school include sporting activities, educational trips & experiences which enhance the school curriculum. Buying a LEZ-compliant School Bus for Lenzie Academy will not only increase access to these opportunities but will also help reduce the financial burden of these trips for families.

To make this goal a reality, we are reaching out to local businesses and organisations to request sponsorship. We offer various sponsorship levels, with donations of between £1,000 and £5,000. In return your business will benefit from an excellent marketing opportunity, promoting your organisation & enhancing your company’s visibility both within the local community and further afield. Sponsorship will include your company logo displayed on the school bus and also promotion through Lenzie Academy’s & Lenzie Academy PTA’s social media and Newsletters. Advertising will be limited to two or three businesses only. All contributions would be greatly appreciated by the school and our pupils.

If you are interested in helping us or would like to find out further details, please contact Lenzie Academy by emailing the school at office@lenzieacademy.e-dunbarton.sch.uk.

Thank you so much for considering our request. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
