We would like to say AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU to all the Children, Mums, Dads, Grans, Grandpas, Friends, Businesses & the Amazing Staff who have helped us so much this year at Lenzie Academy PTA, and we hope you all had a great school year.
How much have the PTA raised, and what have we bought?
We have had yet another fantastic year with lots of fun events. We have held a Quiz Night, a Sponsored Santa Dash, a Race Night, 2 Online Raffles and a Doughnut sale. We have also raised money by being rewarded a Co-op Local Community Cause, by people joining The 500 Club & by using Easyfundraising when shopping online.
This school year we have raised a staggering £11,915 altogether!!!
With this fantastic amount of money raised we have bought a huge range of resources, enhancing our children’s education at school across every year group and every department;
- Library Books – £158.23
- Laptop & Editing Software – £565.99
- Science Club Equipment – £200
- Science Equipment & Laboratory on Wheels for the Chemistry Department – £1950

- Go Pro Cameras & Hard Drives – £150

- Folders for New S1 Pupils – £589.25
That equates to a grand total of £11,812.47 spent this year alone!
With continuing budget cuts, the PTA & our fundraising is becoming more & more important. As you can see from the list of items above, we are now being requested to purchase resources which are essential for pupils’ education, as well as more fun items such as trips & experiences.
Hopefully, with your help, we will be able to buy even more great resources next year. We will keep you posted…
