The Event

Join us on Friday 24th November, 7 ‘till late at Lenzie Rugby Club for Lenzie Academy PTA’s Quiz Night and help raise funds to support pupils at Lenzie Academy. Loads of fun and great prizes to be won.

Price is £10 per person, which includes pizza. Teams can be any size up to a maximum of 6 people.

Cash prize for the winning team (value will depend on number of attendees)

Please bring cash (notes and coins) for mini games we’ll be running on the night, as well as for the raffle.

Lenzie Rugby Club will be operating the bar from which a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased.

We’ll be holding a raffle and drawing it on the night of the quiz (see appeal for prizes below). We were previously selling tickets online, but you can now only purchase them at the Quiz Night event itself. Thanks to everyone that has bought a ticket so far …… winners will be contacted directly.

Raffle Prizes Appeal

We will be running a raffle during the event so are appealing for everyone to donate raffle prizes. Can you help

For example we are looking for vouchers, toys, games, fancy foodstuffs, boxes of chocolates, biscuits, sweets, toiletries, beauty products, bottles of wine or spirits. Or do you have any contacts with local businesses who might be able to donate a prize?

Children can bring in donations to the school in the Positive Intervention (PI) classroom any time from now until Friday 24th November. N.B. Please make sure an adult hands alcohol into the school or it can be brought along on the night.

The MORE donations we receive the MORE prizes can be WON & the MORE we can raise for our kids at Lenzie Academy.

“As Chair of Lenzie Academy PTA since 2019 it is time for me to step down as my youngest daughter is leaving school. It has been an unusual 4 years with many challenges but I have enjoyed fundraising on behalf of the school community and in particular being able to provide equipment and supplies for the school that otherwise wouldn’t be available to them. Before I leave, along with fellow committee member Fiona MacLeod, I’m hoping to raise money by walking the 96 miles of the West Highland Way and we would appreciate your donations. As we complete the walk, over 7 days from May 31st, we will write a brief blog and update social media, justgiving and the PTA website with photos. Thank you in advance for your support and I will be happy to hand over the reins of the PTA to a new Chair and the rest of the fabulous committee at the end of the school year.”

Orders can be collected in school on Friday 23rd June.
