Lenzie Academy PTA are a small and friendly group of parents and teachers who work hard organising fundraising events to raise much needed funds for all our children at Lenzie Academy. All the money raised from these events goes directly to the school.
We need you to help us. You can do this in many different ways; come along to a meeting, send in ideas, be an event helper, make a donation, and come to as many of our events as possible. We will send out requests for help, events and meeting notices throughout the year. We know that you can’t help every time, but if everyone helps a little bit we can make such a difference to all our children. Please just do what you can.

Race Night – Friday 1st March 2024
Join us for a fun filled night of virtual horse races at Lenzie Rugby Club
- DATE : Friday 1st March
- TIME : 7pm
- ENTRY : £13 per person (includes pizza)
- LOCATION : Lenzie Rugby Club
Event Details
Doors open 7pm – First race 7.30pm til late. Recorded races – Loads of competitive fun.
Event limited to 70 attendees, so buy your tickets quick before they sell out (we had 90 at the last Quiz Night in November 2023).
Bets only £1 per race (no limit to number of bets on each race), and bets can be bought on the night. 8 races in total. Winning bets will be split between race winners & the PTA.
Everyone welcome, so bring along your friends & family. There will be a bar run by the Rugby Club so this is an adult only event and no pupils or persons under the age of 18 are permitted

Sponsor a Horse (£5)
Sponsor a horse in a race for £5, and if it wins that race you get a prize! We were selling horse sponsorships online, but we’ve stopped any additional online sales and they can now only be purchased on the night.
Sponsor a Race (£25)
If you’d like to sponsor a race to promote your business then you can do so for only £25 per race! This is a great marketing opportunity for your company because we will promote your business in all promotion material, on our website & also on the night.

Quiz Night – Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who came along to our Quiz Night in November. It was an amazing night and a fantastic turn out. We had the most people ever attending a PTA event and we hope you all had fun!
Together we raised an amazing £1594.77!!
All the money raised on the night goes directly to buying resource across every department and for every year group which enhances our kids’ education and experiences at Lenzie Academy.
This year we are raising money to help buy a new LEZ friendly bus for the school, donate to the Football & Dance Breakfast Clubs, buy Physics Equipment, a laptop and editing software, library books, donate to the Science Club, a Laboratory on Wheels for the Chemistry department and much, much more.

5 easy ways to support the PTA.
Join the 500 Club
The 500 Club is a way you could donate regularly to the PTA, and potentially win one of 2 cash prizes every month in the draw. This is our main fundraising mechanism and we’d love you to join up. Donate between £2 and £10 by monthly standing order to be in with a chance to win.
Shop at the Coop
When you use your free membership card at the Coop when shopping you can not only earn points for yourself, but you can also help contribute to the PTA funds.
Shop Online
Use easyfundraising.org.uk when you shop online a percentage of your spend is donated to the PTA, costing you nothing. Read more about this on our EasyFundraising page.
Save your drinks cans
Save your aluminium drinks cans for us, we aim to set up a collection point in the school grounds and can raise £100’s of pounds this way.
Raffle & Tombola Donations
Every so often we request raffle prizes to be donated to help raise funds. The kids can either drop them in to the PI room, or adults can drop them in to the school office. Please help by donating when you can.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We only have a very small number of parents who regularly attend our meetings and help at events so we urgently need new PTA members. We meet monthly, for 1 hour, to discuss how to raise money and how to spend it. It is good fun, we are a friendly bunch and everyone is welcome. So please join us and get involved? All donations bit or small are greatly appreciated, however, we know how difficult things are for everyone right now, so please only donate if you can.
