Join us on Friday 28th November from 7pm until late at Lenzie Golf Club for Lenzie Academy PTA’s Quiz Night and help raise funds to support pupils at Lenzie Academy. Loads of fun and great prizes to be won.
Price is £12 per person, which includes food. Teams can be any size up to a maximum of 6 people, but don’t worry, if you don’t have a team we can help you find one on the night.
Cash prize for the winning team (value will depend on number of attendees).
Please bring cash (notes and coins) for the mini games we’ll be running on the night, as well as for the raffle if you didn’t get a chance to buy tickets beforehand (follow the links below to buy quiz and raffle tickets).
Lenzie Golf Club will be operating the bar from which a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased.
We’re limited to a maximum of 80 people only …… last year we sold out all 90 tickets 2 weeks before the event so we recommend buying your tickets early to make sure you secure your place. Our fundraising target for this school year is £10,000. All money raised by the PTA goes directly to the school, buying a huge range of resources & experiences to enhance our children’s education at school across every year group and every department. So please help us reach our target by buying your Quiz Night ticket online now.

Raffle Tickets
We’ll be holding a raffle and drawing it on the night of the quiz (see appeal for prizes below). If you would like to purchase tickets in advance then you can do so via the Peoples Fundraising web site linked to below. Alternatively, you can buy tickets on the night of the quiz itself if you are attending. Prizes will be drawn at the Quiz Night, but for any winners who bought online and are unable to attend the Quiz Night we will contact them directly after the event.
Prizes up for grabs include :
- 3 course meal for two (with a cocktail each) at Hazel Restaurant at AC Hotel by Marriott in Glasgow (donated by AC Hotel Glasgow)
- Meal for two at Taste Indian Cuisine in Bishopbriggs
- Christmas Beauty Hamper
- Bottle of Single Malt (donated by Ren Pharmacy)
- Bottle of Moet
- Bottle of flavoured gin
- HUGE bottle of Vodka
We hope to secure more prizes over the coming weeks in the run up to the Quiz Night itself.

Raffle Prize Appeal
We are running an online raffle from now until the event & will also be selling raffle tickets on the night too.
So, we are appealing for raffle prize donations.
Can you help? For example we are looking for vouchers, toys, games, fancy foodstuffs, boxes of chocolates, biscuits, sweets, toiletries, beauty products, bottles of wine or spirits. Or do you have any contacts with local businesses who might be able to donate a prize?
Children can bring in donations to the school in the Positive Intervention (PI) classroom any time from now until Friday 29th November. N.B. Please make sure an adult hands alcohol into the school or it can be brought along on the night.
The MORE donations we receive the MORE prizes can be WON & the MORE we can raise for our kids at Lenzie Academy.

Alternative Fundraiser Event
This fundraiser is in lieu of students, parents & carers having to buy, sell, collect money, donate items, take part in or attend PTA meetings & events. Please donate to Lenzie Academy PTA to raise much needed money to support all our students at Lenzie Academy.
- £10 – I do not want to bake, so here is the money I would have spent on cakes
- £20 – I do not want to pester my friends, family & co-workers so here is the money they would have donated
- £30 – I do not want to walk, swim or run in any activity that has the word “thon” in it so here is the money I would have spent sponsoring someone.
- £40 – I do not want to attend any discos, fancy balls, race nights or quiz nights so here is the money I would have spent on a new outfit or drinks on the night
- £50 – I really wouldn’t have helped anyway, so here is money to forget my name.
- £____ – I am making this donation to express my appreciation for having nothing to buy, sell or do.
